Many Believed?! Just Many?!
John 11 recounts the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead.

Picture the scene; a man has been dead for 3 days and Jesus strolls up to the grave site and says "Lazarus, come forth!" And the dead man walks out of the tomb.

Now, as amazing as that is, what is more amazing to me is the next sentence: "Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him."

Many believed in Him?! Just many?! What kind of idiot would see Jesus raise a man from the dead and say "that's nice and everything, but I still don't believe that he is anything special."

Truth be told... many times in my life I've been the idiot struggling to believe despite the evidence. I have witnessed God accomplish many miracles, yet this morning I woke up stressed out about whether He was going to show up and resurrect some of the dead things in my life and whether He had the power to do it...

Lord help me with my disbelief!
