Today was an interesting day:
- My wife is sick... allowing me to spend some quality time with my son.
- While mowing the lawn the auto drive of my mower broke... allowing me to get a good and much needed work-out while mowing.
- Also while mowing I noticed that someone stole some of the hedges I planted a couple days ago... allowing me to move another poorly placed hedge into the empty spot.
- While trimming with my weed-eater I was attacked by several hundred bees and stung several times... allowing me to see the nurturing side of my wife as she helped me with ice packs and sympathy.
- Upon finishing with the lawn work I noticed a voice-mail on my phone from the tenant in our rental apartment telling me he couldn't afford to pay rent any longer... allowing me to seek God for His provision and direction.
- While sitting at the computer with my son watching monster truck videos on YouTube the audio driver in my computer crashed... allowing my son to work on learning patience.
- The city allows me to use my sprinklers only after 4pm on Thursdays so upon turning said sprinklers on tonight I noticed (near the spot where I donated a hedge last night) water flowing out of a break in the main-line... allowing me to work on learning patience.
After a day like today I am glad I serve a gracious God who has and will continue to supply all my needs... sometimes in ways that I never expected!
