In regards to Christianity; the difference between a conservative and a progressive:

• A conservative's world view is shaped by Biblical principles.
• A progressive's Biblical view is shaped by worldly principles.

In regards to American politics; the difference between a conservative and a progressive:

• A conservative's political view is shaped by constitutional principles.
• A progressive's constitutional view is shaped by political principles.
