Genesis 1:3-5 -Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
Think about that for a second… God spoke light into existence, not darkness.
Darkness is the default… without God there would only be darkness and life cannot sustain itself in total darkness.
Jesus said “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
You want to have life? Follow Jesus.
